Clean up the world

The article is about the "Clean up the world" campaign under the United Nations Environment Program. The program has the support of 35 million volunteers in 120 countries. Its purpose is to not only get people to clean up the areas in their own countries but also to get awareness out about how bad our enviroment is becoming and how our own actions effect it so much.Movements such as these are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people see the effects we are having on our environments and that we are all globally interconnected through the environment since the environment pays no attention to national boarders. "Clean up the World" plans to teach people how to do simple things like recycle and more involved things like cleaning up local areas in hopes that together we can make a difference in a positive direction.http://libproxy.uncg.edu:2084/universe/document?_m=9fb2491a78093d6801ea8418763a9082&_docnum=14&wchp=dGLbVtz-zSkVA&_md5=17d664bf6a492f88c53b47f85d521ad2
