This article was taken place a few days after the threat to London air ports. The government found out that there were terrorists who were plotting to blow up mass numbers of planes in mid-air. The terrorists who were caught were running a “test run” to see if they could actually get away with the chemicals to make the bomb. They could not do it. Each side had spies to see what people were actually doing. That is how they got caught. The article says that there is a high risk of there being more serious threats such as these in the next few days. Before 9-11 happened, security in the United States and going to the United States was fairly lax about everything. After 9-11, security reached a height never expected. When people let their defenses down a little, it leaves room for others to sneak through. That is exactly what happened. Now security is again at an all time high because some people thought they had the right to tamper with other people’s lives.
