Ahmed Zewail: We Arabs must wage a new form of Jihad

This article is basically stating why it now appears that after these detrimental wars in Lebanon, Palestine, and Iraq Arabian people must start building new systems for the future. It also states that they should have four "pillars of change", to get back to the prominent world that they once were, that produced leading civilization, world-class universities, and renowned scholars and scientists.
I'm not very familiar with Arabian beliefs or customs, but I was able to see why they would feel like they are looked at in a different light than they once were, before the wars started. It seemed understandable that they would want to make some adjustments so they would not always appear in such a negative way. I thought the four "pillars of change" was a good place to start in trying to renew their image. Even with all his thought and hard-work put into this plan of reconstruction, I don't know if Muslim or Arabian religion will ever be viewed the same.
