Blackwater security guards on steroids

A lawsuit was filed by Iraqi family members who lost family in a Baghdad shooting in September claimed that Blackwater security guards in Iraq are using steroids. Blackwater of course denies the charges. The suit accuses the company of fostering "a culture of lawlessness" among its men and the use of unnecessary force. "I think there is a whole corporate culture there that essentially rewards the use of excessive force -- shooting first, asking questions later," said Susan Burke, the lead attorney in the case. Blackwater has been accused of many charges including wrongful deaths, assaults, and war crimes. They were also charged with failing to manage steroid use in the men. Anee Tyrell supported Blackwater by saying that all the guards undergo drug tests in the application process and drug tests quarterly. The suit states that the men involved in the September 16 attack violated orders by leaving a secure environment and opened fire even after one of their comrades told them to cease fire. Blackwater had been paid almost $1 billion dollars from the US government since we invaded Iraq.
I believe that something has got to be done about Blackwater. They are in it just for the money and are willing to kill or hurt anybody that gets in their way in order to make the most money that they can. The US government needs to stop supporting companies like Blackwater. The money that the government has already paid Blackwater is ridiculously high.
