Wage Gaps for Women Frustrating Germany

Germany has  one the largest gender income gaps for women in the whole of Europe. It seems while other countries have gotten better Germany has remained in a nutral position. Why? Well gender inequality is the main issue, while other may argue for other reasons. This is a major issue  for women all around the world but unfourtantly it is so widespread in Germany.
Each year the world gap for income inequality seems to narrow. In 2007 the world gap was at around 15.9 percent. In Germany it was around 24 percent. Germany has their first women chancellor and this problem is dominant. Some people argue the reasons why this is occurring is because women have to take care of children or take time off to raise them.
However, is this a reason to discriminate aganst women who are just as qualified or more qualified than men. If it isn't than what is?
Gender discrimination is an world wide issue. When it comes to a salary theirs no excuse as to why women can't earn the same amount of money. This is what I believe and I'm sure many other women and men do to. The problem is arising and people are suffering from it. Hopefully , Germany's  women chancellor  is going to take a stand on this.
