Georgia Villages "Torched," Satellite Study Shows

All this time we’ve been thinking of the many possible reasons why Russia attacked and continues to invade Ossetia. With the recent discoveries of some sattlelite photographs, there is strong evidence that this was an act of genocide against Ossetia. Many witnesses have openly talked about how they believe this was an act of genocide, however word is not hard enough evidence at this point, however the images resurfaced are reasonably correct. Since August tenth one hundred and ninety-two structures have been either damaged or destroyed, and out of those many were individually targeted, even residences. Over one hundred residences were damaged by shelling from bombing in the area. Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili said "Ethnic cleansing and damage and extensive violations of fundamental human rights in these regions is the responsibility of the Russian side, we clearly attribute that responsibility to the Russian side." However, South Ossetia's president, Eduard Kokoity, has repeatedly denied claims of ethnic cleansing in the villages. These accusations and denials are only making it harder to figure out what this attack was all about.

Not only is genocide an extremely alarming issue, but the sheer fact that there is no legitimate reason given to the press behind these attacks. This information is vital in situations such as this.
