Missing Persons, Drugs, Mexican Boarder?

As we all know there is a lot of drug trafficking that happens on the Mexican Boarder, this is nothing new in the news. President Felipe Calderon is attempting to fight against the drug trafficking, but this seems to be cause a unprecendented wave of violence in many boarder cities such as Juarez, where more than 1600 people were murdered last year. Many people have also just disappeared and numerous families fear they will never find there loved ones.
One of the most shocking happens in the past few days in that head less bodies are being found on the streets, and signs are being posted to warn police that try to interfere with drug smuggling. A man by the name of Jamie Hervella help found a program called  Association of Relatives and Friends of Disappeared Persons, which provides support to families that this has happened to.  Many families are afaird to join this group however due to them being scared of the mafia.
I was left with my mouth hanging open at the audacity people have to cut someone head off and place their body on the street to show the government a sign. I am hurt and appauled at the things people will do for drugs. This has to come to an end that is not a good way to live. Image walking down your neighborhood street and seeing a head less body laying there. I feel that the U.S. should step in and try to help them out it has to be a way to get a grip on this situation. I realize drug trafficking is a way of life for numerous people but they have taken this career to a cruel new level that is just down right out of line!!

This somewhat goes hand in hand with my post. It's unreal how far these people will go to get their point across. My post talked about how Mexican drug cartels are creating fake firms in places like Africa to have their chemicals shipped to then being rerouted again to produce drugs. I can't believe how far people will go to traffic drugs.
