Suicide Bombing in Afghanistan

There was a suicide bomber on a motorcycle who blew himself up in a crowded square in southern Afghanistan. Twenty-eight people are reported to be dead and fifty-nine wounded. Thirteen of the twenty-eight are reported police officers and the remaining fifteen dead are civilians. The bombing happened right before evening prayers. A local police commander, who survived the attack appeared to be the target. A shopkeeper in the market square reported that his son was wounded in the bombing and he saw many other children who normally sell cigarettes and chew gum were among the victims in the tragic event. The attack is said to be the second deadliest attack this year, and the third deadliest attack since the fall of the Taliban since their fall in 2001. Ahmadi said "Whenever the Afghan government wants to hold negotiations, the Taliban is in Afghanistan."

The events that keep occurring in Afghanistan seem to be brought on by their own citizens. Afghanistan needs to step up their security and maybe so much crap wouldn’t happen to them so often. As Ahmadi stated, the Taliban is in Afghanistan when they want to negotiate. The Taliban forces, who seem to be the source of all the evil, needs to be obliterated from existence as soon as possible.
