Clinton Climate Initiative Names Solar Gard(R) Window Film a Key Resource for Saving Energy

The article is about Solar Gard teaming up with the Clinton Climate Initiative to reduce energy consumption in public and commercial buildings. Solar Gard window film is included under the Energy Efficiency Building Retrofit Program, and is designed to help public entities lower their energy consumption. Solar Gard window films are proven to block 99% of cancer-causing ultraviolet (UV) rays. Solar Gard rejects solar energy, less energy is used to keep the interior temperature comfortable. The Solar Gard also reduce CO2 emissions. The Clinton Foundation’s Climate Initiative mission is to the fight against climate change in practical, measurable, and significant ways. In regard to the Clinton Climate Initiative, the president stated that climate change is a global issue that we must address immediately if we are to reverse its catastrophic effects. The foundation supplies energy efficiency and clean energy products. By offering these products at a discounted rate, we can ensure that more cities and citizens have access to them and that the market for clean energy technology will grow.

I thought this article was very interesting it showed how there are people out there that is concern with our environment and making things more energy efficient and have a safe environment. I feel that through the Clinton Climate Initiative working with many different cities throughout the world, it illustrates the changed that are happening for the better.
