U.S. provide anti-terrorism training for Cambodians forces

The USS Essex amphibious assault ship arrived in port city Sihanoukville on Monday carrying US Marine Corps. On Tuesday the Marines started providing Cambodia’s National Counter Terrorism Task Force (NCTTF) with anti-terrorism training. The training should allow NCTTF the ability to sustain counter terrorism training and further stabilize the ability of the US to participate in future partner nation’s military exchange programs. In other words, both countries will benefit from these training sessions by further developing counter terrorism capabilities. Anti-terrorism training tactics were focused on field medical operation, marksmanship, leadership development and hand-to-hand combat. The US Military will also be providing services in the surrounding areas such as medical, military and civic engineering missions.
This Military counter terrorism tactics training will help the Cambodians to increase their chances in the encounter of terrorists. I think it is important to build relations with other countries and if helping them to develop anti-terrorism tactics and help their country to feel more secure about their situation while building on a bond that is being formed with them, we are doing a good thing. I also think it is good that we can assist their people by giving medical treatment and carry out other missions while strengthening their defense systems. It is important to perform tasks with other countries and obtain allies in this day and age.
