Dear students,
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our upcoming Global Leadership Program information meeting on Tuesday 3/25 from 12:30-1:30 in the Faculty Center (on College Avenue). The goal of the GLP is to bring UNCG students involved or interested in internationally-related service and leadership, study abroad, and the study of international and global issues (both inside and outside the classroom) together with similarly involved and interested faculty and members of the community and to afford an opportunity for those students not only to earn formal university recognition for that extracurricular engagement, but also to enhance their academic, personal, and professional credentials.
To be eligible to participate in the Program, you only need to be a degree-seeking student at UNCG (at any level, freshman through Graduate, whether a domestic or international student) with enough dedication and time to complete the program (one year absolute minimum, but preferably two or more years in order to reap all the rewards of participation).
To learn more about the GLP and get answers to your specific questions (including how to sign up), please plan on joining us on the 25th (light refreshments provided). Meanwhile, we invite you to take a look at the GLP website at http://www.uncg.edu/ipg/glp. NOTE: current Program participants are also most welcome to attend.
