The article I am going to talk about is the announcement that there is going to be a Catholic- Muslim Forum in Rome at the end of November to improve the relations between these two religions. The name of one of the forums first meetings is called “Love of God, Love of Neighbor”, in which leaders and scholars from both religions will deal with both theological matters and social themes. In this forum it is expected that Pope Benedict XVI will address the participants and talk to them about the conquering problems and solutions. A Professor of Jordan Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center in Amman says that this forum will bring that sign of hope that everyone has been waiting for and that world peace can only be achieved with respect, dialogue and peace between these religions.
The Muslim delegation announced several initiatives to strengthen their relationship with Islam and denominations like Protestants and Orthodox Christians.
I believe that this forum will be a great success because it is bring two religions together to talk about all the differences between them and they are also going to talk about how to better their relationships with each other. It is also very important that the Pope is going to this Forum because it demonstrates his concern and voluntarily to help out with any issues. I believe it will be something to talk about and hopefully with the success of this Forum they will be willing to have others for other religions too.

It's funny how Christians and Muslims often focus on how they are different rather than the fact that they all fundamentally believe that there is a god and that he says we should all be good to each other; not funny ha-ha, funny ironic and tragic.
