Food production is getting to be so expensive that people cannot afford to pay the price for the basics to survive. A new agricultural technology is being developed to help solve this problem.
This new technology is producing the basic rice for example with more enhancements of nutrients to help to sustain for a longer period of time and also to provide the essentials for a person to remain healthy and get the things for their body without having to pay an arm and a leg for them. They are conserving water where they can and trying to prevent soil erosion which can cause more greenhouse gas emission. With the new pesticides to keep bacteria away there is less bacteria and helps to keep the grocery bill down. Studies show that if there are no pesticides then crops will go down 30 to 50 percent. Retail prices would go up 27 percent.
I think that there is a limited supply of fertile land anymore and I think that if we can come up with any type of technology that could help us to get what we need out of the land and as much production of it as possible then that is a great thing and it should be done.
