TALIBAN KILLS CHRISTIAN CHARITY'S ANGEL OF MERCY

In Kabul, Afghanistan a woman named Gayle Williamns was gunned down on her way to work by Taliban assailants. This happened Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Williams was there to teach Chirstianity to the Afghanistan people. She was killed for this on her way to work. The Taliban said she was ordered to be killed.”because she was accused or proselytizing.” She was also there to help the poor.
Britain’s secretary of state for international development “called the killina a callous and cowardly act.” Many people believe it was just cold murder. Afghanistan is mostly an Islamic nation. Chrstians who have fone there to help have faced lots of hostility. Last year more than twenth people were taken hostage to be released later resulting in two deaths. The city has since tignted security and increasing check points.
This is just another exampleof senseless attacks and killings over religion. What ever happened to treat others as you want them to treat you? I think this is a growing problem that will get worse before it gets better.
