10,000 jobs being cut

A major company here in America will be cutting about six percent of their workers which equals to about 10,000 jobs being lost. Just adding to all of the layoffs and cuts that have been going around the United States already, Boeing is another big company just adding situation of the downing of our economy. Just in 2007 Boeing made a profit of 1 billion dollars in their fourth quarter. In the last, fourth, 2008 quarter Boeing lost 56 million dollars. Boeing is probably one of the bigger companies that puts out job opportunities. With the economy falling down so hard it is, thousands and thousands of people still losing their jobs. The 10,000 job cuts they have to do are not helping the thousands of families being impacted.

This is not a company that is trying to just cut thousands of jobs just to gain money, as you can see in the last fourth quarter in 2008 Boeing lost 56 million dollars compared to a year ago where they profited 1 billion dollars. Boeing is just one other company in America that is suffering from the economy downfall, they are trying to get work to help keep up their profit and the cut of jobs, but with the economy suffering so much, it is hard for anyone to get any work.
