It was stated on Wednesday that a man convicted of stealing fishing nets had his hand cut off by Islamic militants who are on Washington’s list of terror groups. The Islamic group, Al-Shabab, is imposing a strict law allowing punishments that have created fear all over the nation. Al-Shabab has been gaining ground as Somalia’s Western-backed government crumbles. The 26-year-old man had his hand cut off late Tuesday for stealing three full sacks of fishing nets worth $300 from a businesswoman. Another case was reported that a 13-year-old girl was stoned to death for adultery even though her parents said she was raped.
The Islamic group created fear in their own country; however, that fear resonates into other surrounding countries and countries all around the world. Knowing that a group of people could torture people of their own country, it is a fearful fact that they could do the same or worse to people of other countries.
Terror in the world has become a huge issue, especially in the U.S., since September 11, 2001. The fear that a terrorist will strike your nation is felt by every single American or habitant of other nation’s everyday. This type of crime is one in which there is no stopping. No matter what the military tries to do, there will always be someone fighting against them.

Wow this is intense. It defiantly makes you think of how the other countries are still ruling their people and how unfair the laws are still. Especially when you look at the U.S. and how people will still complain about our laws and how they are unfair.
