                                                Wind Energy Taking Effect

Welwind Energy International Corporation has reported the recent change in wind energy. According to the records, the planet has become more aware of gas-free electricity. Global wind energy capacity grew by 28.8% last year, even higher than the average over the past decade. The United States overtook Germany as the world's green superpower by installing 8,358 MW in 2008, a 50% increase over the previous year. This 1.5 Mega–Watt (MW) turbine is being widespread around the world and continues to be one of the world’s most widely used wind turbines in its class. Over one third of the world's new wind capacity was installed by Asia, with China accounting for 73% of the total power. Larry McNabb, President of Welwind Energy, believes that because the United States are quickly becoming the new global superpower for wind energy, Welwind feels that its decision to pull some of its focus from China to the US market will prove to be a prudent decision for the company and its investors in 2009.

The idea of going to a more wind-focused environment is a big step for the United States, indeed the world as a whole. These wind turbines are making themselves more and more available in today’s society. In the coming years, I would expect the U.S, China, and possibly Germany, to be vying for the top spot in the world’s green superpower. Wind energy is an ongoing project but I believe it will significantly reduce the effect of greenhouse gases if enough effort is put into it by the world as a whole.

This idea is very exciting. The very thought that the U.S. can compete with Germany for the title of green giant is amazing. I had no idea such efforts were being made in America.
