It is only March and Malaysia has reported 33 deaths due to Dengue fever this year. This is more than 2 times the amount that Malaysia would usually have by this time of year. Dengue fever is found mostly in Africa and is spread by certain mosquitoes. This disease is an epidemic in more than 100 countries. Researchers say that the heavy spike in Dengue fever cases is due to dirty residential areas and the rainy season, which bring out many of the mosquitoes that carry the disease. The researchers also say that the residents of these communities heavily infested with Dengue mosquitoes need to maintain cleanliness in their house as much as possible because that will help the mosquitoes stay away. Dengue fever causes headaches, sever muscle pain, severe joint pain, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.
I researched Dengue fever and I found out in order to keep Dengue fever deaths to a minimum they need to check their symptoms and report to a hospital as early as they start seeing the symptoms. This way they will be able to diagnose the disease and take the necessary precautions to save this person’s life. They should probably just try to exterminate all the mosquitoes if it’s possible considering that’s how the majority of Dengue fever cases happen.

Deaths due to mosquitos are becoming more popular especially within other countries. The thing is that it is very hard to limit the number of mosquitos and protect yourself from them. Many people cannot afford mosquito nets, and if they can, they are impossible to use all day long while working. Also they hard part is that the symptoms are similar to a fever and a cold, and the disease affects more children than any other age group. IF a child acts with these symptoms it is hard to say it is more and need to go tot the doctor.
I agree with you when you say that people should pay extra attention and if they begin to have symptoms its important for them to go to the hospital. I feel this is the best way to prevent death from this disease.
