According to experts on the economy, they believe that President Bush led the weakest economy in many decades. The job increase only went up 2 percent during the entire eight years that he was in office. Also “gross domestic product” went up at the slowest pace since Truman’s administration. Lastly, they say that Americans income “grew more slowly” thank any other term since the 1960’s other than his father’s term Bush senior. Of course Bush is quickly defending himself and saying that he experienced 52 straight months of job growth in the direct middle of his term. Bush also reminds them that from 2002-2006 housing generated up to 800,000 jobs. Chief economist Mark Zandi said “It is sad to say, but we really went nowhere for almost ten years, after you extract the boost provided by the housing and mortgage boom.”
In my opinion I believe that Bush did a good job considering what he had to deal with. Of course the Obama administration is going to bad mouth and put down Bush and the Republican parties. Not many presidents could have dealt with 9/11 and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan like Bush did. He really entered his term at a very bad time and unfortunately he got put down for things that he couldn’t control. I don’t believe that we should blame anyone, it’s definitely not Bush’s fault that all these bad things happened. We need to stop trying to find someone or something to blame and begin to pick up the pieces of our economy. We need to fix these economic problems and just try to not blame anyone for this unfortunate mess.

I agree with the citizens of the U.S. government. Bush did a terrible job. Since he was office all I heard on the news was lost of jobs. I think people may have struggle more than ever, while he was in office.
