Santa Clara police still don't know what sparked one of the city's worst killing sprees, which left six people dead and the only survivor in critical condition, unable to tell anyone her story.

Lt. Phil Cooke said Thursday there was no new information to release on why Devan Kalathat, 42, who also is known as Raghavan Devarajan, killed his two children and three other relatives at a family housewarming party about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the modern, upscale Rivermark development. He also killed himself. His family had moved in only about a week before.

Cooke said police are still interviewing extended family members in the United States and India to try to figure out what made the Yahoo Web analytics engineer snap. Kalathat purchased two .45-caliber handguns, six weeks and one week, before the attack. A cousin is en route from England to talk to investigators and determine whether to bring the bodies of the victims back to the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu near the Kerala border, where adult victims were born

OMG!! I just thought this was interesting because I did not know they go out the way and call people in other countries...

Um, yeah I think they have to do whatever necessary to find out what happened to these obviously innocent people. The people that are in the other country may have some leads are some interesting information that will help figure out why this individual SNAPPED!
