This article is about the constantly growing problem of the decrease in the global labor force, or unemployment. At least 89 million people in 43 developing or low income countries are heading into extreme poverty because of the economic crisis. These people wil be living in extreme poverty, which means, living on less than $1.25 a day.The International Trade Unions Confederation (ITUC) believes that the increasing global unemployment may make any recovery plan more complicated. The ITUC wants all countries to realize this problem be will be even worse in the next two years and something needs to be done before things get too out of hand and no longer fixable. They are, hoever, very happy that some governements tried to help out more by giving out stimulus packages.

This article makes me sad and thankful at the same time. I am so sad that this is happening and, no matter if we have a job or not, times are hard for everyone, especially the jobless. However, I am so thankful that I, and the rest of my family still has a job. This article is very eye-opening and I knew things were bad, but WOW! It is getting even worse very quickly.
