JAPANESE GANGSTERS?

The gangs in North Carolina might have a couple thousand dollars coming in, but that doesn’t have anything on Japans bad boys. The Japanese Yakuza clan has estimated annual revenue of 13 billion dollars. There one of the largest crimainal organizations known in the world. They use a practice of “sokaiya” or extortion to get over on the Japanese economy. There are over 3000 groups of yakuza based in Japan alone. The crime that are being carried out by this criminal organization is gun trafficking, drug and alien smuggling, prostitution, illegal gambling and extortion.

The law is trying to cut down on the crime from this organization by filing lawsuits against them. Members of this gang are required to study the revamped anti-organized crime law in attempt to dodge these heavy lawsuits. This law was introduced last year, so the yakuza dons are getting nervous. This law allows the dons to b sued for the actions of there “little gangsters”. The mobsters now have to take an exam created by the government that ask questions on banned activities, from vehicle thief to illegal dumping of industrial waste and phone fraud. So these gangs have to study and find loopholes in the system in order to stay out of court. One of these loopholes the dons came across was drawing up retroactive letters of expulsion to prove a suspect was no longer a gang member at the time he allegedly committed a crime.

To sum up, this criminal organization is one of the worlds deadliest and largest problems. Be very powerful men with lots of money, these dons are at the peak of there game. But who knew u had to be smart and study to b a gang member!
