This article was about how 5 pirates were detained off Somalia's coast wednesday after a failed attempt to take over a ship. The article said the pirates mistook a French ship that was invlolved in an anti-piracy operation for a commercial vessel. There were no injuries and the attack failed. The french ship was able to chase some of the pirates down and detained 5 of them.
My reaction to this is great! I think it's kind of funny that they attacked a ship that was looking for them, it's like stupid criminals. This involves trade/economy because if the pirates had successfully taken over a real ship, supplies and other things of value that are invloved in trade would be off the market, and they would be holding it for ransom which isn't good for the country who the ship is from's economy. But I think it's good they were caught and no one got hurt.

First off I want to say I'm happy nobody was harmed. Okay now I want to laugh just a little. Pirates tried to attack the anti pirate ship? those have got to be the worst pirates ever. I mean really...how do you mess that up? Good thing they were caught...now we need to work on catching the ones who are actually good at being bad.
