Over the past weekend, two Canadian men were gunned down and killed in Mexico. The two were reportedly involved in the drug trade. The two men, whose names are Gordon Kendall and Jeffery Ivans were gunned down in the resort town of Puerto Vallarta. The police there are now conducting an investigation but they are already saying that “the deaths appear to have been a matter of settling a score”. Some of the people who witnessed the crime said that is was a lone gunman who killed the pair. Kendall was shot first, then after a small chase Ivans was shot by the pool. Although Ivans was carrying a gun, he was not able to use it. After they were both shot, two more men arrived and continued to shoot the pair. It is said that the two were involved in gangs but the officials did not which one.
Week after week I continue to report on the crime that takes place in Mexico. To me, it seems that each week the crime gets worse and worse. The officials in Mexico make it seem like they are trying to fix the problem of crime but in my opinion, I don’t think they are. If they were, then why do crimes like these continue to occur day after day? They perhaps need a new president or someone who can restore order in their country because they need it.

That's really sad. It's crazy seeing the extents that people are willing to go to just because of drugs. Not to mention all the innocent lives they're putting at risk when they resort to guns and shooting.
