As the People of China returns to work after an 8 day national holiday, the health ministry makes an announcement that about H1N1. The announcement was that the H1H1 situation is looking rather grim. The first person in China died of H1N1 October 4th. The virus is spreading from the east to the southern part of China to the north and western parts. It is also spreading from urban areas to countryside. The Mainland is expected to see more serious and fetal cases. Because of all the people who will be returning to work, China’s Health Ministry is expecting a huge outbreak of cases on a massive scale. 22,830 cases have been reported since last Friday. But among the cases 17.000 were reported in September alone. China is the first country to issue a license to the H1N1 vaccination. This Vaccine has shown adverse side effects such as vomiting, fever, fatigue, swelling, and pain. However because of the number of cases the Vaccine will be released on a massive scale.
I anticipated that this would happen. When I heard the number of vaccines that were going to be ordered I knew that it would not be enough, however I also predicted that a country with just a massive population in small areas would be in danger of spreading the virus more rapidly. What is amazing me is the that spread to the countryside because people more a little more spread out then in the urban areas. I hope they are able to act quickly in China.
