This article discusses the problems with our current education system and how it does not currently teach our students, around the world, how to adapt to the economic issues that are on currently on the rise. For example, with the current financial crisis that we are in all over the globe, we should be teaching students how to respond to these issues in order to be successful. We should be revising our educational policies and teaching them how to adapt to high unemployment, growing inequalities between people, stronger competition, and more innovation, all the while, there are less jobs available. Education is a vital part in taking control and preparing these students for such a challenging future.

I think that this article really hits home for most of us, considering we are in college right now. Being a senior, about to graduate and be put out into this challenging world of jobs, or the lack thereof, is kind of terrifying. I agree that there needs to be a change in the current system of education, because like it or not, there are a lot of different issues going on now that students need to be aware of and prepared for. I am not only a student, but I am an education major, so I feel strongly about this topic. Something has to be done about teaching students about the current economic conditions or they will be totally lost when we set them free and tell them to succeed in the world.

I completely agree. They do need to be educated about the problems they're going to face throughout their lives. Whether its educational or economic. These kids will have a better chance at being successful if they are prepared for what the world is going to impose upon them.
