Apparently the Taliban are still upset about their leader being ousted in August because they are attacking and killing in large amounts. The attack began in Lahore, the Pakistani cultural capital. Suicide bombers stormed three security installations in attacks that appeared coordinated. The death toll for the attacks was 37 according to reporters. The Taliban are exploiting the weakness of our intelligence agencies said Javaid Hussein. He feels that many more attacks will be coming in the future. Although in many of the attacks several suicide bombers and gunmen were also killed but along with that came many innocent civilians. The whole city was caught by storm as many local businesses were shut down and many civilians stayed home. Security forces are using there best efforts to try to get the attacks under control.
It seems that this is becoming a tragic situation because many innocent people are continuing to be caught up in the cross fire of these battles. The Taliban are avenging their leaders death and seem to stop at nothing to prove the worth of their leader. It seems like the government needs to get one step ahead of the enemies and strike before they do. This has been the fifth incident in ten days and there may be more to come. Something has to be done now rather than later before more innocent lives are taken without notice.
