.:Summary:.
A Pakistani air strike against the Taliban killed eight people, according to military officials and a Taliban leader. Many different stories of who was killed are floating around. A Taliban leader was quoted, as saying that among those killed was the father of commander, Nur Wali. Others say that all of those killed were civilians. The bombing was in the lawless tribal region in South Waziristan. It is believed that this area is full of Taliban groups.
.:Reaction:.
I am glad that the US is not the only country doing heavy work to suppress the Taliban, whom have become rampant in areas of the Middle East. Although they have been pushed from the main areas of civilization, they have pushed out to areas such as the one that was bombed Wednesday, where they can run their operations with minimal interference. With other countries assisting in suppressing these terrorist groups maybe one day we can get a hold on terrorism.
