In northern Iraq on friday a suicide bomber opened fire at Muslim worshippers praying among the Sunni congregation. He killed at least 15 people before blowing himself up. The man first targeted the inmam, Abdul-Satar Hassan. Soon after he turned AK-47 assult rifile on the worshippers and when the ammunition was done he detonated his explosives. There was an estimate of 95 people wounded in the attack. A man sitting on his prayer rug said he was listening to the sermon when a tall man in the crowd stood up took out the rifile and began to shoot while shouting "God is Great".
What is it with blowing yourself up? How that appeals to anyone, i guess ill never know. Its not fun it is not cool....you're DEAD. Idiots. These prayer places may need to have more security now. Before you know it all the idiots in the world are going to cause chaos in every single place in the world. I bet in 5 years we are going to have to go through securtity just to go to McDonalds. Good job idiots.. once again.

I agree. I don't get the whole, "I'm going to kill myself too" idea. Maybe that's their way of not having a consequence, even though they're dead anyway...I don't know. But yes, sooner or later there will be security every where. Which is ridiculous. Simply because people can't be trusted, I mean you can't even practice your religion without the chance of getting killed. And that's the one place you'd think you would be safe...in a church, mosque, or whatever. I guess not.
There was no "suicide bomber" that attacked the place in Florida where I used to go for religious studies. However, we had a man come in one weekend when we were praying and he shot at all of us and then eventually shot himself. It angers me and makes me sad when people do such horrid things like this. Thankfully, now there is security all the time and there has been no incidents since. These occurrences just goes to show you that there are a lot of crazy people out there and one always has to watch his or her back because you cannot be 100% that you are safe.
