Taliban Responsible for Suicide Bombing in Pakistan
The Taliban is claiming responsibility for a suicide bombing that took place in the North West Frontier Province in Pakistan on Monday. Spokesperson for the Taliban Ihsan Iiah Ihsan confirmed on Tuesday that the Taliban was responsible for the blast that was targeted at a Police station in the Lakki Marwat district. He also stated that the Pakistani and U.S. law officials were enemies of the Taliban. The blast killed at least seventeen people nine of which were police officers and another eight were civilians. The blast also left another 40 people seriously wounded. Police official Jameel Khan told reporters that a single bomber drove a car filled with explosives straight into the police station. This bombing is the latest edition to a string of bombings that have taken place in various places around the country.
Once again terrorist are in the news because of an attack on innocent people. It really saddens me to know that theses people think that they have to hurt others in order to make a statement about what they believe or think is right. It almost makes me not even want to watch the news anymore.
I think that this was a very short but informative article. A longer article would have probably given more details about the bombing but overall the article was very straight forward. The article didn't mention who the actual people involved in the bombing were I think that would have made a nice addition to the article if their names had been mentioned.
