War in Iraq is 'Not Valid'

Obama has said that the war in Iraq is coming to an end.  The president said it is time for the people of Iraq to take the security of their country into their own hands; and they will have lead responsibility. Obama announced that the United States military will hand over the security to the Iraqi forces.  Robert Gates, the United States Secratary of Defense, said that he thought the problem that the American people have with the war is that the reason for entering the war was not valid in the first place.  Obama announced that he will officially end the war in Iraq on Tuesday night with and address in the Oval Office.

I personally think that the war in Iraq was being fought for the wrong reasons, if any real reason at all.  I agree with Bush in the fact that if I were president after the terrorist attack of 9/11 that I would have done the same thing and went to war with Iraq when I heard of the weapons in Iraq.  However, with that said, I would have waited until there was more evidence of these weapons and also would have had a better, more thought out plan as to take care of the weapons and terrorist.  Which there was not any weapons to be found, so if I were president at the time, there might not have been a war.  The only thing that I'd be worried about now is that the war is over, is what if Iraqi forces fail to keep their country under control and the bad guys take over and decide they want to attack us?  Then we're going to be back in the same situation we are in now, only the war could possibly be on our own soil.
