The rabies scare is continuing throughout the whole world, especially Asia. Public health officials have officially sent a warning for all American travelers. This warning is because an American man, who was in India, died due to rabies. There have been thirty-one cases in the United States, between the years of 2000 and 2009. This man contracted his rabies, and three months later started showing the common side effects. He inconsistent, uncomfortable, and he had incredible amounts of saliva. It took him approximately six months to die after contracting the disease. Common ways to come in contact with the disease, is through a dog bite, dog saliva, or any open wounds.
This is such a horrible problem, and if it is not addressed then it could potentially affect everyone. This could affect the world in so many ways, especially the travelers go to or coming from Asia. The issue with rabies is the fact that it is unpredictable in animals. Although some dogs are noticeable with it, some are not. All travelers need to be aware of the symptoms of rabies, so that they can tell if they are starting to show them. The rabies is spreading all over the world, and everyone needs to be aware, because rabies is a horrible killing disease.
