An assorted group of religious leaders from across the Salt Lake Valley came together with an equally diverse crowd of parishioners on Sunday evening to celebrate all the ways they are the same and all the ways they are not. One of the religious leaders there said that God gave them diversity in their creation for a purpose. He also said that there is always something more to see, something new to see, for which to be thankful. One of the big questions at the event was, what religion is God? The problem with the question is that, it is not possible to know the answer but it’s important for people from different faiths to understand each other and respect each other. This means ignoring how people from other religions are different from you and forgets the ideas that keep people apart. Another big idea that was stated at the event was, you may think low of certain people, but if God thinks higher of them, you and I can do nothing about it.
Among all the difference between all religions, one thing that is the same is the idea of love, respect and kindness to others. Whether this means treating those who you share beliefs with love, respect, and kindness, this is an underlying idea that all religions take part in. I think that yes, people don’t believe in the same things and ideas but because someone is different doesn’t justify hating them or causing problems because of a difference.

Someone told me once that if God wanted us all to worship in the same way he wouldn't have made us all so different. I think it's good for religious leaders to come together and focus on how they are the same instead of fighting about which one is better.
I do agree with you that no matter what you do believe in what counts is the love you have for your religion. I also feel it is what you value and what you believe to be the most important part that you learn from out of what every religion you believe in.
