Topic Selection

For my topic I will be learning about the various approaches to energy and alternative energy that are being used or attempted by the governments and countries of the world. Energy has become one of the most tumultuous issues that we, as a population must deal with. It divides us, creates war, separates the poor from the rich. Defines the structure of our economies and the economies of individual companies, which in essence can act like countries with the power that they yield. Energy has created the society that we know. And it is the race to create new and better forms of energy that are forever influencing our society, driving us to change, driving us together and in other instances apart. I plan to look into the way energy plays a dynamic role in society and the effects that it has had, continues to have, and will keep having.
