The release of extra Carbon into the environment has been a huge topic of debate for almost a decade. It is leading to temperature rises and global warming, which is affecting every country in the entire world. This warming is associated with the widespread patterns of drought along with concentrated rainfall that causes major flooding in certain countries. It is killing off many species of animals and warming the ocean and melting the ice caps. If we were to change the way we get energy to a more efficient and eco-friendly way, it could completely turn this whole world around for the better in many different ways as well as help stop global warming.
Getting energy doesn’t have to just be with coal and oil; energy can be made from the sun, wind and hydrogen. These methods are a lot better for the environment and they will never run out like oil and coal will. We can also do our part at home by turning off the AC or car-pulling when we can to save gas. If a nation was to go oil-free, it would not just help the environment substantially but it would also help people save a whole lot of money and there would be a lot fewer wars, considering most of them are over oil. We need to sacrifice some luxuries for ourselves like big houses, big cars, and driving a lot so the future generations can enjoy this world as well as we have.
