Police in Italy and Germany have arrested 35 people in an anti-mafia operation, with warrants also issued in Canada and Australia. The operation targeted the 'Ndrangheta, one of the most powerful global crime syndicates, which specializes in trafficking illegal drugs. They arrested one man in his bunker in Calabria, Italian police said. These people are believed to have vendetta killings like the six men in Duisburg, Germany, in August 2007. They were also accused of recycling illicit funds from Italy in shops and small construction businesses. This gang is known to be ruthless businessmen with a taste for blood. Italian police were ecstatic to strike this critical blow to this organize crime mob and know, according to Italian police spokesperson, they will have to reorganized in result of this raid.
The problem here is organized crime. Whether we know it or not, organized crime is in every city, state and country. They bring harm to our loved ones and danger to our communities. We as a whole need to stand up against these crime rings and help put a stop to their drug dealing, paid killings and countless dollars made illegally. The police can't do it alone, if they could they would of done it a long time ago. There are different levels of organized crimes but regardless of the power of each gang, we need to put all of them out of commission.
