The Human Rights Office says they have been receiving reports about rights being violated in Bahrain.

Between 50 and 100 people were reported missing and two were reported to be dead.

Officials also said that people have also been detained. All communications were cut with the detainees and mobile phones were cut off of close family members.

The Salmaniya hospital has also been taken over by the military. They have been preventing injured people from entering the hospital and receiving medical attention.

It was noted that people in Bahrain should not be arbitrarily arrested and detained without clear evidence they have committed a crime.

Protesting has been occurring in the country very recently and frequently. The protestors are being blamed for much of the violations of human rights, something that has yet to be officially confirmed. Colville, a leading official, says that people should not be arrested for demonstrating peacefully or for talking to journalists. He also said that injured people should not be prevented from receiving medical care.

This is a social problem because many people are experiencing the harsh situations from their government. Even the journalists that travel to the country are facing the issue at hand. It goes without saying that the people who are experiencing such mental and physical torture will hopefully be relieved of the burden of their country’s problems. As many rights of the Bahrain people are being violated, the protestors are working to change such.
