Pollution

The Minnesota pollution control agency is testing the waters. Out of the testing they found that 90 % of its waste water treatment plants have traces of harmful chemicals. These harmful chemicals are found up and downstream. The plants that are dumping these chemicals in the water are not able to break down prescription and other drugs. The fish are being affected a lot by the pollution. They are being affected by the estrogen in the water, making the fish feminine. A big problem with the water is what people flush down the toilet or not knowing what to do with them. If you are dumping chemicals or drugs, you should triple bag it before throwing it away or take it to a pharmaceutical college. Also the MPCA blame the septic systems and agricultural runoffs, but haven’t done enough studies on their affects. The MPCA says that they will continue to study the effect of chemicals in the water and land. Which they should, because if they didn’t companies would do whatever they want. And the world would be a much different place than what it is today. Without some people stopping them from hurting the earth it would be a horrible place, full of mutation. Pollution control is a must in this world. I feel like there should be more rules or stricter rules to follow for them. but I guess you have to work with what you got.
