Blog post #5 The global air change

In many cities air pollution levels have risen to the point of it threatening people's health, in nearly 1100 cities, and 91 countries with more than 100,000 residents. WHO estimates that more than 2million people die every year from breathing air pollution (PM10 particles) which are 10 mm or less, which can penetrate the lungs and may enter bloodstream, which can cause heart disease, lung cancer, asthma, and acute lower respiratory infections. The new information found by the WHO shows a dramatic increase from 20 to 300 micrograms per cubic meter annual average, with the great majority of urban populations have an average annual exposure, despite the WHO's guideline values, (people hardly follow them.) The WHO is calling for more awareness of health risks caused by urban air pollution, which would decrease the mortality rate. The largest contribution to urban outdoor air pollution includes motor transportation, and industries burning biomass for cooking.
As I recently learned in sociology class, when the population decreases, the economy collapses, with this rising predicament, there will be fewer people all over the world, cause air is a worldly issue, and we are all polluting it, and also because the older people will die from it much easier than the young kids, while babies will probably be born into a air polluted world, and not be able to survive. There seems to be only one major way to avoid destroyer our air, but that would mean that the world would have to give up transportation, and burning fossil fuels , which is what many people all over the world still used as a heat source, and also to cook their food, if they can't use it, they can't eat, and they will die of starvation. It is not surprising that all of this is happening mainly in urban areas, because those tend to have the most space between destinations, which would mean there would be more driving to do, and more air pollution, I really hope the WHO can figure out a way to make these people understand what is happening to the world, and our air, to prevent everyone from dying sooner than necessary.

Many countries global air has changed drastically in a bad way due to the more uses of fossil fuels and the more pollution they are creating. we must slow all of these things down before they run out or start affecting our health more then normal.
