The MVA-B vaccine is a therapeutic vaccine, intended for HIV infected individuals to be able to control the disease, the Spanish National center for Biotechnology have recently released information about the clinical trials that show very good signs about the vaccine being successful. 90% of the volunteers showed immunological response when given the vaccine, and there is no risk of the genes in the vaccine being able to replicate themselves, their immune systems were able to detect the HIV and their antibodies were able to attack the HIV virus. The vaccine is still in the early stages of development, so there is no guarantee that the medicine will be potent enough to make a significant difference in the body, still experts say this is a step in the right direction. Though the trials are going to be very small, there is a good reason for the caution, and hopefully the vaccine will make a huge difference in the countries that are suffering from this disease the most, or at all. Places in all over the world will be able to give hope to children, and young women suffering from the virus that was placed upon them, without choice. The world will have new hope, and with new medicine for this virus, there is even hope for the people in America that are also suffering from the disease, that will be able to live longer, and more people will hopefully be able to work, and with this new vaccine, there should come more production, and an increase in jobs to produce the medicine, and also more scientist looking for new cures, and therapeutic medication for even more growing diseases.

This is a great step forward. I know that an effective vaccine or a shot would do wonders for any persons infected but especially in countries in Africa where they don't have access to continued medical treatments like some people in the US and Europe.
