The article was talking about how where you live can have an effect on your health. It was giving an example of women in a study who were given the opportunity to move out and how doing that affected their health. While those women who were not given the voucher and its effect on their health. It was telling about the problems with low-income neighborhoods and the reasons why these women are having problems with their health: some of these factors were the lack of healthy food for families, lack of resources (gyms, doctors) for women to monitor their health. The extra stress they may have from other issues that affect their health. This can have an effect on the children of these mothers and other families from low-income neighborhoods. If they are able to move elsewhere, it may be able to improve their schooling and other things that are important to children’s development and growth and the whole family as well.
This issue is a social problem because many families are experiencing or have experienced what these women in this study have. They may have lived or are currently living in neighborhoods where they do not have enough resources to improve their lives. These families may want to live differently but cannot since they do not know where to turn to. Women especially those with low-income and those where women are not viewed equally a lot of times are put on the backburner in government issues and given the short end of the stick that does not benefit them at all. To fix this problem, government officials especially those locally can go to these neighborhoods and address these issues by talking with these women. They can come up with a solution to fix these problems by adding healthy and educational programs to teach children and families what they need to know to stay healthy as well as to progress in life.

I just wanted to comment on how interesting this study sounds. They allowed women to move out without having to pay? That seems like it would be a very expensive research experiment but at the same time I wish all study's could use these types of hands-on methods.
It's amazing how the type of neighborhood you live in can affect your health. I think it is important that better doctors, clinics, gyms, etc are provided in these areas so women won't have to suffer from these sicknesses and diseases. It is also important that these women know how to stay healthy.
