Labor

Global issue's within child labor

Child labor is a huge problem throughout the world today. Most low income countries across the world construct child labor as being ok. One of the major issues in child labor laws is, most of these children are from very poor families that cant even support the child. While everyone sits back and complains about how unethical it is to enforce child labor, has no clue of what they are even fighting for. Even though some of these children are forced to be employed for only a couple of cents an hour, most choose to work and want to. These children whom choose to work in these labor factories pay for food on their table, school, and even clothing themselves. These children that have no choice but to work because of their families being so poor, have to have these jobs. If these jobs get taken away many of them will be lead to trafficing, and prostitution.

This is a tremendous sociological problem, whether to dispand all of child labor or to monitor it more closely. Totally getting rid of child labor could actually make things alot worse. Alot of these children need that job to pay for school, food, even helping out their families. If they didn't have these jobs the child would most likely turn to prostitution. I believe that they shouldn't totally dispand child labor, but should monitor it. This way no child is getting abused, then the ones that need it have a way to make an income other than selling their bodies.

It's difficult to find well-informed people for this subject, but you seem like you know what you're talking about!

Thanks
