Attacks keep Christians in hiding

Keeping the opponent in fear has been a method that has been used since biblical time. The religious persecution in Nigeria continues and has spread new ideas of fear into the citizens of Kano. The members have transformed the day that is usually filled with prayers and songs that are asking for forgiveness, but with threats centered around the religion they hold so dear they need to also offer prayers for protection. With fear running through the parents the church schools remain empty even at mid-day. With 800 students, the parents fear for the lives of their children and are starting to have little faith in the protection of the government. It also brings fear and confusion to the country and its citizens. Friends of other religions are beginning to bring distrust into a friendship. The dismembering of friends comes only through the idea of the unknown. They can no longer rely that they are not a part of the sudden disasters that have been taking place.
We see that the people are finding few safe places to reside and they feel as though they are isolated to the country. The confusion is that they are feeling fear in the only familiar place that they have known. The police still struggle to bring peace because it is more than just an occasion, it is a daily onslaught. People are looking for answers in a time of need. The government seems to have no answer with the persecution that is ongoing. With the country in fear the government needs to step up to find ways in securing this militia and a way to insure the people that they have nothing to fear.
