Death penalities being given out like candy in Iraq

As Iraq goes through a troubled government and economic time, they are also dealing with an alarming pace of executions this year.  The decisions the government is making there have been awful.  The Iraqi government has given state executioners the okay to execute at will.  They have executed sixty-five prisoners since the beginning of the year.  Although it’s not a crime there at the moment but places all over the world consider it a huge crime.  The death penalty has been an ongoing debate ever since I could remember.   There has been up to twelve different crimes committed that the death penalty has been given to them as there sentence.  The people going against the judicial system have not been able to get a good defense, challenge evidence against or get a pretrial.  So basically people up for the death penalty are getting the death penalty because of the unfair judicial and defendants aren’t getting a chance to defend themselves in a court of justice.

Everyone has a different opinion of the death penalty.  I feel like this is a huge social problem because everyone has a different view on situation.  Everyone is back and forth about it and I don’t think the world will ever feel all the same about the situation.  The crime that people are committing isn’t enough to take their life for it.  Everyone deserves a second chance in my opinion.  I think CNN shining light on this subject will definitely cause attention from all sources of people and governments.  I feel like it’s only a matter of time before another government or the United Nations steps in and help Iraq out.  This isn’t right to just give out the death penalty to anyone and everyone.
