how technology has effected us

In the article I found this week was it stated some ways that we often dont seem to notice, but we do all the time because of technology. No doubt that it has made things easier in life. But technology has effect the social interaction, caused job loss, promoted cheating both on test and on your spouses, and also created a downfall in physical activity. To go in more detail with what the article was saying social interaction is changed because we no longer send snail mail we use email more often. We often dont even go to a business to put in an application anymore. Also cheating on a test has become more easier, simply by taking a picture and sending it someone, or looking something up on google. But as far as the cheating on the spouse goes they point out the fact that people can now easily get in touch with somebody who is willing to cheat over the computer on some dating website, or just texting them. Another topic covered was that jobs being lost are due to advanced technology. For example online stores are making mom and pop stores go out of business simply because the loyal in-store shoppers are switching up and going to internet shopping instead. The last topic covered in the article is physical activity which they say has dropped drastically because people would rather sit in front of a tv or laptop rather than go out and walk or jog around the neighborhood.

My issue on the article was that is didnt go far enough with some of the topics on how technology has cause us problems. I agree with job lost situation 1000%  humans are easily replaced by robots to do certain task in the workplace. It may be economically right but going as far as laying people off their jobs isnt right. Another thing that i agree with in this article is that people have gotten really lazy! Ive personally witnessed people get on the elevator just to go up ONE flight up the stairs. It seems as if the world knows whats going on because they are trying to get a little better with Fitness style video games that gets you up and active!
