Blog #7: Charging Green

 

             Green Technology is important to everybody in the world.  The place where green technology is developing is China.  China is becoming a country that makes their technology safe and accurate against pollution.  One of the cities in China wants to start a new clean direction and it is Changxing.  The city had a lot of problems with pollution technology in the past and may not be possible to work with green technology over there. Changxing had a long history of disaster, for example, one hundred three children had lead poison from a small battery plant last year.  There are green companies want the repair the city so it have a better outcome.  Wang Qingzhon, a spokesman and former deputy head of industrial development said “Over the next five to 10 years, Changxing will become the main center for new energy and lead-acid batteries.”   Today, Chanxing having eight battery businesses have start solar photovoltaic manufacture with total investment of 15.1 billion yuan and a predictable output value of 23.4 billion yuan.

             China wants to make safer and healthily technologies in the country.  I think it a good idea to start fresh in Changxing.  The city, Changxing, have to change the way how they build technology.  It has to keep up with the standards of what China is aiming for.  They want to go for green technology so companies can build electric cars, military vehicles, and solar and wind power storage.  With this idea, it will improve Changxing’s technology skills and a better outcome in the coming up future.  This city has a chance to change their technology from the past and improve it in years to come.
