labor with women fixing in the philippines, Frankie McAteer

Last Blog

Throughout the world women and people that work overseas for American corporations are treated as low as a human being can be treated legally, then even sometimes it’s illegal. In this article they just got the treaty passed that will guarantee that the women and workers across seas will be treated fairly. The last place was the Philippines, which is great news for them. The Philippines had one of the worst working conditions in the world. The health conditions are awful. They have the sewage on the sides of the roads above the ground. It is about time they stepped in and started to help the women and others working for the huge American corporations in other countries.

This treaty is a great thing. Throughout the world not just in the Philippines have tremendous problems with labor laws. The worst part about it is the fact that most of these jobs that violate that labor laws and they are from America. All these terrible jobs you hear about in the news or these jobs that give people only cents an hour to complete worker that profits thousands is mostly American. This is ridiculous considering the fact that say apple, they sell an iphone for around 500 dollars. The problem is they only spend a couple of dollars to make it so you’d think that they would lower the price since they put their company overseas to get a cheaper labor cost. No they just try and still find cheaper labor while rising the prices! These companies should be way more regulated to operate outside the U.S.
