Effects of Terrorism
Today in Beirut,
Lebanon a massive bomb went off in the middle of the Christian section. The
bomb blast wounded dozens and killed at least 8 people. The fallout of this
terrorist attack has been wide spread fear and general anxiety. The main target
of this attack was said to be security official, Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan,
who was the intelligence chief of Lebanon’s internal security force. “General
Hassan played a leading role a few months ago in the arrest of a former
information minister, Michel Samaha, who had close ties with the Syrian
leadership and was accused of plotting a campaign of bombings and
assassinations in Lebanon. Mr. Samaha’s arrest was widely viewed as evidence of
a Syrian plot to spread sectarian mayhem in Lebanon.” Before this attack
General Hassan had received numerous death threats. Suspicious groups that have
been accused are the Syrian government and Hezbollah, who both rejected any
accusations.
I believe that any more
of these terrorist acts will plunge Lebanon into chaos and civil war. I truly
doubt that the proper actions of increased security were taken into effect,
following the death threats that Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan received. I
believe that if they were then many lives that were lost could have been saved.
Because of these actions the terrorist have “won”. The terrorist have effectively
managed to spread mass fear and anxiety to call attention for their ambiguous
motives. Without upgrading the way the world handles terrorist action we (the
innocent people) will continue to lose. This is a sad but great example of what
could’ve been prevented with change

Βut, what about this? suppose you tyрed a
catchieг title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a post title that grabbed a person's аttention?
I mеan "Blog 8:Effects of Terrorism (10/19/12)" is a little boring.
You should glance at Yаhoо's home page and see how they write article titles to grab people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what you've
got tо sау. Just mу opinion, it might brіng yοur posts a littlе bіt
morе interesting.
