I read an article this week in the “Irregular Times”, it was entitled “Charlie Fuqua, for Killing Disobedient Kids and Religious Cleansing, is GOP pick for Congress”. This article is about Charlie Fuqua, “the Republican Party’s pick for Congress in Arkansas’ 5th District, wants the government to engage in religious cleansing in the United States: “I see no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States”. When I first read this I thought it had to be a joke there is no way, but after further research I have come to realize that this man is real and he really thinks that this is a good idea. I don’t see how anyone in the right mind would think that children should be killed just for disobeying their parents; quite frankly I am not sure who he is thinking he can say this. In reality, globally there are parents everywhere who have killed their children. The question is why? Just this week a woman decapitated her 2 year old child and then killed herself. She called 911 and told them that he boyfriend had killed her son, and then less than a minute later admitted that she had done it. When the police and ambulances arrived they found the sons body on the floor and his head in the freezer. Shortly after they found her dead on the floor, the report says she stabbed herself in the neck. It is just crazy that things like this even happen in society and the only thing I feel like we can do is when parents are checked into rehab or are known to be drug abusers I feel like we should be so much more careful about when we let their child go back and live with them. Zaharee was the 2 year old that was killed by his mother and she was a known drug abuser and was on all kinds of medications. She had already had her son taken from her and had only had him back for two months, but if she was still using or any signs were showing that she was an unfit mother then she shouldn’t have gotten him back.
