The ongoing battle with the solar panel industry in China has finally seen somewhat of a victory. China has overtaken the solar panel industry by making very cheap solar panels, driving other companies in other countries out of business. and was charging outragous. This 24% to 36% tariff has a been upheld and is just proof that China's acts were illegal. Whether this will save the American solar industry is still up in the air. Supply Chains have been altered because of this and they are outsourcing their cells to be produced in Taiwan and Korea. The financial problem with this issue is not going away any time soon, infact the companies in China that have weak or indebted companies are likely to go under. The companies that are able to control their variable cost will be able to stay afloat and continue to make a revenue. This will not compare to the many of companies that have gone under in the U.S. due to not being able to compete with the cheap prices of the chinese companies.
